Introducing Janette, Ruh, and Ana

We’re thrilled to introduce Janette, Ruh, and Ana—the newest additions to the Litmus family.

Janette joins the team from the beautiful shores of Hawaii as a self-taught designer. Though she initially majored in Computer Science, she didn’t love it, and managed to teach herself all about design thanks to the vast amount of online resources. Her past work ranges from designing government web apps for the State of Hawaii and healthcare apps for HMSA, a subsidiary of Blue Cross Blue Shield.

She’s passionate about user-friendly interfaces and responsive designs. When she’s not dreaming up the next great user experience, she enjoys cozy mysteries, k-pop music, and playing video games.

Joining our infrastructure team, Ruh is working on various projects to make Litmus’ Instant Previews even better. Before coming to Litmus, he worked as a developer for several different companies in Florida, from development consulting to data cleansing for hospitals and freelancing.

When he’s not busy coding, he pursues his more creative side with oil painting, drawing, calligraphy, digital art, and woodworking. He loves to go camping and help his two girls grow up (but not too soon!).

Ana, born and raised in Colima, Mexico, joins Litmus as a Staff Engineer working on implementing new features into the administrative backend. She loves the Ruby language, and is passionate about best coding practices and web performance.

Before joining Litmus, she worked almost four years as a Software Engineer at MagmaLabs, an e-commerce consultancy based in Mexico working for several clients on a wide range of projects and technologies.

She’s a diversity advocate, and an active member of Women Who Code and RailsBridge. She’s also experienced in organizing workshops and events focused on increasing diversity and inclusion in the tech industry.

When not writing code she loves to go swimming or cycling. She enjoys painting, outdoor activities, taking long walks with her dogs, and a good cup of coffee.

Between catered lunches, a remote-friendly environment, 28 vacation days, and so much more, Litmus is a great place to work. And, guess what? We’re hiring!
