BTS of Achieving the Impossible: 100% Conversion Rate
If you ask them, every email marketer says the same thing: there’s no such thing as a 100% conversion/retention rate. Imagine my shock when I managed to do just that with my client, Workamajig. In this session, you’ll discover all the factors that went into attaining that remarkable metric, from unpacking why email should be viewed as a long game, to examining why email metrics aren’t always the metrics to track. We’ll also look at why no matter how talented an email strategist is and how amazing their results are, it’s never just “them”—and explore how to cultivate the trust that leads to a successful team achieving the impossible.

Email Deliverability: A Result of Respect
Email deliverability is a very complex matter that depends on many factors. Can it be simplified, though? Is there some pattern? Over the years, I tried to figure out the formula so I could remember it myself. One day it came to me—it’s a result of respect. The respect we express towards our own and others’ resources, time, energy, and focus. In this session, we’ll explore a holistic deliverability model and its different factors, how each of those factors is interconnected, and how to improve deliverability by adopting a framework centered around respect.

In this session, you’ll learn how to identify and communicate your unique value, examine the evolving role of marketers, and explore how to embrace innovation and collaboration without devaluing your own worth.

How B2B Marketers Can Prepare for How Data Privacy Will Change Email Metrics and Strategy
GDPR, CPRA, the end of third-party cookies: data privacy is a hot topic among digital marketers, but it’s not just digital advertisers who should be worried. If your B2B email strategy’s success is founded on clicks, opens, and assumed opt-ins, the data privacy landscape of the future could be a rude awakening. It’s best to start preparing now for how the increased loss of cookies, new security software and data privacy in general will affect how you measure your email campaigns and ultimately the email strategies you implement. In this session, get advice—and consolation—on how to rethink your email strategy as classic reporting metrics lose their value.

Creating Awe in the Inbox
The process of how we intake information in the inbox can be impeded or aided by what else is around us, competing attention, and how we speak to people. In this session, you’ll discover how the three keys here are 1) Accommodation: the concept of making way for new ideals based on new information received, 2) Internal consistency: understanding our place in the grand scheme of life, and 3) Connectedness: speaking to humans in a way that feels natural to them, to create an understanding of trust. To do that, our approach to email can play a big part by knowing, where they are when they’re reading, what their device can do to keep digital connectivity after the email closes, and utilizing headlines, subheads, and email body copy to speak to people like people.
