Timers are usually positioned at the top of an email. In this example, Studio.co.uk have broken that rule and featured it at the bottom of their email. With compelling offers featured, when the recipient gets to the bottom of the email they see strong timer call to action. Once the offer was over the timer was switched out to an offer ended banner with a ‘win back’ message.
